In this video you will find the demo song (piano version) of the song “Mag het zijn” written and composed by me
For the past three months, I've been working on this song. I started with the chorus, then verse, bridge and guitar solo, intro and ending and also a part for backing vocals, but you won't hear that in this video. I'll have to work it out in the studio later. The song is not finished yet, but as a basis, it is ready for discussion on how we can further design it. I made this song purely by ear, and what I heard in my head. I can barely read chords, so it was a huge challenge. At first, the song turned out to be far too high for vocals, so I had to convert it to a lower octave. I had never done anything like that before. I also did this purely by ear. In the end, I am quite happy with the version made so far.
